Certified Member status is awarded to Regenera Hotels Association members who meet all required criteria outlined in the Regenera Hotels Standard for Sustainable Hospitality. Certification is renewed annually when the member achieves more than 50% of the relevant indicators within the standard. The certification criteria are organized into key themes: Sustainable Management; Social/Economic Impact; Cultural Heritage; and Environmental Responsibility. Regenera Hotels Association retains the exclusive right to grant certification. Certified Members must also undergo independent, mandatory onsite and desktop audits in alternating years.
Gold Member status is awarded to members who have maintained certification for five consecutive years. This esteemed designation is granted only when a member consistently meets all the required criteria within the Regenera Hotels Standard for Sustainable Hospitality and has completed independent, mandatory onsite and desktop audits in alternating years. Gold membership is NOT automatically awarded upon fulfilling these requirements. Instead, it is conferred after a comprehensive review of the member’s performance over the five-year period, ensuring continuous effort in key areas: Sustainable Management; Social/Economic Impact; Cultural Heritage; and Environmental Responsibility. Regenera Hotels Association reserves the exclusive right to elevate members to Gold status.
Platinum Member status is awarded to members who have been certified for ten consecutive years. This is the highest level of recognition offered by Regenera Hotels Association and is achieved only when a member meets all the required criteria within the Regenera Hotels Standard for Sustainable Hospitality and has completed independent, mandatory onsite and desktop audits in alternating years. Platinum membership is NOT automatically granted upon meeting these basic requirements. Instead, it is awarded after a thorough review of the member’s performance over the ten-year period to ensure sustained commitment to key areas: Sustainable Management; Social/Economic Impact; Cultural Heritage; and Environmental Responsibility. Regenera Hotels Association reserves the exclusive right to confer Platinum status.
