Acknowledgment of Traditional Owners

At Regenera Luxury, we recognize and honor the 476 million Indigenous Peoples across all regions of the world, from the Arctic to the tropical forests. Indigenous communities are the original stewards of the land, seas, and skies. They embody wisdom, sustainability, and interconnectedness. Their profound legacy continues to shape our shared future.

In the spirit of regeneration and reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where our member hotels and retreats operate. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging and extend that respect to all Indigenous Peoples worldwide.

Indigenous knowledge systems hold the key to restoring biodiversity, regenerating ecosystems, and safeguarding cultural heritage. Research shows that lands under Indigenous stewardship have higher biodiversity, lower deforestation rates, and greater carbon storage—demonstrating a model of true sustainability that inspires the regenerative hospitality movement.

Regenera Luxury prioritizes meaningful engagement, ethical tourism, and responsible partnerships with Indigenous communities. We support the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). We advocate for Indigenous sovereignty and wisdom. Indigenous traditions should be acknowledged, celebrated, and integrated into the evolution of regenerative luxury.

True luxury is more than exclusivity—it is responsibility, reciprocity, and reverence for the places and people who make our world extraordinary.
