For students & entrepreneurs.
We invest in the people who will define the next era of hospitality — students, founders and independent owners of boutique hotels and retreats — through academic alliances, internships and hands-on mentorship in the regenerative standard.
Backing the next generation of regenerative hospitality.
Regeneration is a long game, and it depends on people. Regenera Luxury works alongside universities, incubators and independent operators to open the door to young talent and ambitious founders — giving them real access to the methodology, the network and the mentors behind the standard.
Through formal academic partnerships, paid internships and tailored support programmes, we help students turn study into practice, help entrepreneurs build viable regenerative ventures, and help owners of boutique hotels and retreats reach certification without the overhead of a large group. In recent years our programmes have welcomed more than 120 students from eight countries — Spain, Mexico, Bolivia, India, Italy, Germany and Saudi Arabia among them.

Our founder Héctor de Castro teaches at Universidad Anáhuac Cancún, where his courses span regenerative luxury in hotels and tourism as well as Senior Business Management (Alta Dirección de Empresas) and Quality Management.
He brings the regenerative luxury methodology into the graduate curriculum — impact measurement, the 300-KPI standard and the economics of certified properties — alongside the leadership and quality-management disciplines that turn principles into day-to-day operational reality.

Co-creating the knowledge of regenerative tourism.
Beyond the classroom, Regenera Luxury partners with leading institutions to research and publish the methods of regenerative tourism — turning field experience into teaching material, white papers and open frameworks the whole sector can use.
Through our agreements with AMFORHT and La Sorbonne (Paris), we co-create specialised content on regenerative tourism and promote it across academic and industry networks — helping define what regeneration truly means for hospitality, and how to measure it.

Learn the standard from the inside.
Our internship places students and early-career professionals inside live certification work — alongside auditors, partner hotels and the methodology team. It is the fastest way to understand how regenerative luxury is measured, proven and monetised.
- Real assignments — support live audits, KPI data collection and impact reporting on certified and candidate properties.
- Direct mentorship from RL auditors and the founding team, with structured feedback throughout.
- Methodology training on the nine sections, 300 KPIs and the RL Compass platform.
- A paid placement and a recognised certificate of completion that opens doors across our network.
